COMPANY BACKGROUND

Meridian Surveys Reg. No. 97/08302/21 was established in Standerton,
Mpumalanga on the 1st of March 1997.

After a few months of operation, a need developed for a second company and the closed
corporation Malan Hattingh Survey Services CC Reg. No. 97/16944/23 was registered.

SPECTRUM OF WORK

1. CADASTRAL SURVEYS:

The Company acts as an adviser to land owners and performs all the relevant services, which includes:

  1. Applications of subdivisions and consolidations.
  2. Relocation of boundaries.
  3. Servitudes
  4. Proclamations of rights
  5. Identification of registered rights against the property
  6. Townships Establishments
  7. Mining titles
  8. Mineral rights
  9. Identification certificates

2. SECTIONAL TITLE SURVEYS:

The Company is registered under the Sectional Titles Act, therefore being able to act in an advisory capacity to developers of Sectional Titles and also in the compiling of sectional title plans up to the registration at the Deeds Office

3. ENGINEERING SURVEYS

The Company does all engineering surveys which includes the following:

  1. Topographical Surveys
  2. Mine Surveys
  3. Photogrammetric Surveys
  4. Locality Plans
  5. Road Surveys

The company is equipped with all the modern survey equipment with data recorders. Software packages are compatible with other professions and the most modern technology are used to process and distribute data.

The latest equipment obtained includes, two Trimble GPS's and Leica Total Stations

Apart from the usual day to day work such as sub-divisions, consolidations etc. the Company has since its establishment been involved in a number of projects with the main aim being township developments. The following projects were successfully carried out and completed in a span of 7 years:
